HJR 1025 is a joint resolution commending the Virginia Society for Human Life on its 50th anniversary.

A copy of the resolution would be presented to the Virginia Society for Human Life as an expression of the General Assembly’s “admiration for the organization’s unwavering commitment to the protection of innocent human life.”

The resolution provides a background on the Virginia Society for Human life, which was formed in 1967, and was the first state “right to life” organization in the United States.

Virginia Society for Human life is an affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.
