Utah Health Education Amendments (HB 71)

HB 71 clarifies what can be taught in sex education courses.
The bill prohibits the instruction in the advocacy or encouragement of the use of contraceptive methods or devices. But allows instruction to include information about the medical characteristics, effectiveness, and limitations of contraceptive methods or devices.
