Abortion Provider

Shelley Abrams has been working in abortion clinics since 1995, and is currently the Executive Director overseeing the operations of three facilities in the Southeast, including the last clinic in Mississippi. She began her life as an abortion rights activist as a volunteer patient escort in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1993 after the murder of Dr. David Gunn. Most recently, Shelley became part of the grassroots movement in Virginia to fight against TRAP legislation. She was also a co-founder of the group CoochWatch whose stated purpose was to make sure that Attorney General Ken “The Cooch” Cuccinelli “never, ever becomes Governor.”
