Mary Beth Hastings

Mary Beth Hastings is an international consultant on gender, health, and human rights – is a seasoned analyst of global health policies and their impact on women and girls. She has more than twenty years academic and professional experience on international sexual and reproductive health, gender, and human rights issues. As a senior-level consultant with expertise in gender, HIV, family planning, maternal health, and the rights-based integration of health services, she collaborates with international gender, health, and rights organizations to strengthen organizational capacity, hone program strategies, and evaluate success. Before becoming a consultant, she served as vice president at the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE), a U.S.-based sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy organization, where she worked closely with advocacy and service delivery organizations in Latin America and Africa to pinpoint and pursue effective advocacy strategies.
