Gov. Chris Christie won’t say whether he supports an initiative on Mississippi’s Nov. 8 ballot that seeks to declare that life begins when a human egg is fertilized.

The initiative is endorsed by GOP gubernatorial candidate Phil Bryant, who Christie will campaign for later in the week.

Christie says that campaigning for Bryant doesn’t mean he supports the measure. However, Christie reiterated today that he is against abortion rights.
