ABC-affiliated Iowa television station WOI-DT posted the shocking exchange of Democratic state Rep. Mary Mascher (Iowa City) questioning Republican state Rep. Shannon Lundgren (Peosta) over the lack of a rape exception in an extreme anti-choice piece of legislation commonly known as a heartbeat ban. This follows on the heels of the Iowa Senate passing what amounts to a total abortion ban.
