On the evening of January 25, thousands of New Yorkers descended upon Washington Square Park in Manhattan to rally against executive orders signed earlier in the day by Donald Trump as part of his “immigration blitz.”  As the sun set, the crowd chanted, cheered, and displayed their signs as speakers from activist groups and city government promised continued defiance of the Trump immigration agenda.
