Dean Kim participated in Alliance Defending Freedom’s Blackstone Legal Fellowship program in 2009, during which he interned at the Pacific Justice Institute in Santa Ana, Calif., working on cases involving religious freedom, parental rights, and other civil liberties issues.

Currently an assistant public defender at Sacramento County Public Defender in Sacramento, Calif.

He went to Ave Maria School of Law from 2008 to 2009; he graduated from Loyola Law School, Loyola Marymount University in 2011.
