Full Bill Text
HB 1340 would allow the state to issue a certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth at the request of a parent of the stillborn child.
The bill would redefine “stillbirth” to mean an unintended, intrauterine fetal death at any gestational age.
The bill clarifies that a certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth is not a fetal death certificate.
2/4/19 – Introduced.
