HB 22 would have prohibited abortion providers (like Planned Parenthood) or their affiliates from providing sex education or family planning instruction or instructional materials for use in human sexuality or family planning instruction in a public school.

STATUS

This bill was introduced during the second special legislative session called by Gov. Rick Perry in 2013 after the first effort, HB 1057, failed to pass during the regular legislative session.
