Alaska Bill Regarding Wrongful Death of an Unborn Child – Jackson’s Law (SB 200)

SB 200 allows parents who lose their unborn children through the unlawful or negligent actions of another person to be able to seek civil penalties.
The bill does not apply to cases of legal abortion, instances that occur during regular medical procedures and situations where the mother herself causes the death.
