Alaska Anti-Discrimination Law (HB 139)

HB 139 would have expanded statewide non-discrimination protections to include sexual orientation and gender identity or expression. The bill would have protected Alaskan citizens from discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, financing or credit based upon sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
HB 139 was the companion bill to SB 131.
