SJR 60 is a joint resolution expressing the disapproval of the Alabama State Legislature for the vote made by U.S. Senator Doug Jones (D) against the “Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act” in the United States Congress.

The bill claims that “Doug Jones is from one of the strongest pro-life states, yet disregarded the clear wishes of the people of Alabama.”

The bill calls on Doug Jones to cast future votes to “protect innocent human life from conception until natural death.”
