Johanna Westeson

Center for Reproductive Rights

Johanna Westeson is the Regional Director for Europe at the Center for Reproductive Rights. In this capacity she leads the Center’s litigation and legal advocacy in various European countries and in European regional bodies to advance women’s reproductive health and rights, with a focus on access to safe abortion and contraceptive services. Prior to joining the Center, she worked with the WHO on human rights and sexual health and on various human rights projects in Latin America. Johanna has a law degree from Uppsala University and an LL.M from Columbia University. She is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
