Heidi Breeze-Harris has a degree in Asian Studies and Anthropology. She has studied and worked in Japan, India, Thailand, Nepal and Guatemala. She is a seasoned project manager, artist, photographer and community activist.

Heidi is the co-founder and Executive Director of One By One – a non-profit organization that conducts advocacy and educational programs and raises funds and makes grants to treat and prevent fistula in the developing world. (www.fightfistula.org) To this end, Heidi works with students, community members, universities, NGOs and government and UN agencies. She speaks publicly to groups large and small and writes articles about fistula. Work on fistula is balanced by Heidi’s joyful roles as the wife of husband, Jack, and mother to three-year-old Coleman.
