Anni Irish is a Brooklyn based writer and cultural critic whose work has been featured in VICE, Teen Vogue, Time Out New York, Flavorwire, and ArteaFuse among others. Irish holds an MA from New York University in Performance Studies, MA in Gender and Cultural Studies, and a BFA from Tufts University. Her current research is centered around the social history of the tattooed lady in the US and it’s larger effect on pop culture. She has taught and lectured on the topic. When she’s not writing, Anni enjoys spending time with her pet mini lop rabbit Isabella.
