Cliff Stearns Too Busy Trying to Attack Women To Remember To Campaign In The Primary

Robin Marty

I'm sure the Susan B. Anthony List can find him a job somewhere.

Florida Republican Congressman Cliff Stearns — who thinks a woman should face “serious charges” if she gets an abortion, was the go-to guy for anti-choice activists when it came to pushing legislation curbing a woman’s right to bodily autonomy. Unfortunately for him, those activists don’t vote in his primary–his constituents do.

Now, it looks like Stearns is out of a job.

Republican Rep. Cliff Stearns (FL-03) just lost to Ted Yoho in a primary Stearns apparently didn’t feel he needed to bother trying to, you know, win.

While Stearns has been busy waging his holy war against Planned Parenthood, instead of representing his constituents, he managed to let “large animal veterinarian” Ted Yoho sneak up and kick him out of a job. And come January, Mr. “Job Creation Solutions” will be looking for a new job himself.

On the bright side, I’m sure AUL or the SBA List will find him a nice cushy position before you can say “general election.”
