Romney Would Push For Federal Abortion Restrictions

The presidential candidate moves further to the right on abortion.

Presidential contender Mitt Romney may not have signed the Susan B. Anthony pledge against abortion, but as he has now explained in a recent interview with Mike Huckabee, that doesn’t make him prochoice.  In fact, as president, he vows to ensure than federal abortion restrictions like waiting periods and “counseling” laws are put into place across the country.
