What’s almost as good as defunding Planned Parenthood?  How about legal wrangling that keeps them from receiving the funding even after a judge has told you to reinstate it?

Thanks to a hold up with the state, a Hays Planned Parenthood will have to stop providing services on Friday, despite the fact that a federal judge told Kansas it is illegal to withhold the funding.  Another clinic in Wichita will have to stop allowing patients to use a sliding scale fee, as well.

The group needs assurance that they will receive their funding back by September 16th in order to continue operating normally, which the state is refusing to guarantee.
